What You Will Do:

The Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst is a senior clinical liaison between the Clinical Informatics area (within the Information Technology Department) and the clinical end user departments. The person in this position works collaboratively with all HCGH end users of clinical information systems and applications. May provide lead role in planning and implementing new information technology (IT) for clinical departments. Largely responsible for training of electronic medical record clinical applications and ongoing support of clinical IT as well as all levels of end users. Is responsible for more complex aspects of evaluation project planning design development implementation maintenance and ongoing support of clinical IT.

Who Should Apply:

  • Masters degree required with concentration in a healthcare technology field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience required or three (3) years with a certification in Nursing Informatics.
  • Registered nurses who are considered must hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Maryland or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland; completion of an accredited nursing program is required.

Salary Range: Minimum 47.96/hour - Maximum 74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
