Reporting to theTreasurer of AES Clean Energy the Corporate Finance departmentis responsible forthe planning execution reportingadministrationand compliance for allAES Clean Energy Corporate-leveltransactions involvingcredit facilities banks loanslong-term debtandcredit supportforAES Clean Energy.

The Corporate FinanceAnalyst/Sr Analystwill report to the Manager CorporateFinanceand support thegroupsinitiativesby carrying out a diverse set of analytical activities as well as interacting with internal groups and outside advisors.The primary responsibilityof this positionistomanageAES Clean EnergysCorporateDebt facilitiesin addition to supportingthe team in executingnewcorporate-levelfinancingsas necessary.This position requires a well-organized analytic-minded individual with good interpersonal skills and great attention to detail. This position also requires strong time-management skills as well as staying task focusedin order tocomplete multiple deliverables.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Manageaccounting close deliverables and support invoice processingforcorporatefinancefacilities

  • Administration ofCorporatedebtfacilities includingConditions Precedentforloandrawsand repayments

  • Support modeling of portfolio-wide project financing facilities

  • Supportongoing compliance of thecorporatefacilitiesincluding coordination with teamsto deliver required deliverablesand compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness

  • Support execution of Corporate-level financings in coordinationwith finance & accounting groups (treasury operations project finance FP&A accounting APetc) project teams (legal engineering construction landand project management) and external counsel lenders and advisors as needed

  • Supportdata rooms and due diligence processes forcorporate finance transactions

  • Designor implement improvementsand automationin communication monitoring or enforcement ofcompliance standardsandday-to-day processesleveragingAI and otherfinancialsystems

DesiredExperienceandSkills:

  • Undergraduate degree with focus in business finance economics or accounting

  • 3yearsof relevant professional experience incorporate financetreasuryfinancial planningaccountingorbankingin Clean Energy sector

  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial and economic theory includingworking knowledge of financial statements

  • Experience with invoice processing and accountingmonth-end reporting

  • Extensive knowledge and capabilities to work in Microsoft WordPower Point and Excel includingexperience working in corporate/project-finance models

  • Self-starter withability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

  • Highly organized team player can easily respond to changes in work scope / deadlines as priorities shift

  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonalskills

  • Highly motivated to learn financial concepts and build out groups skillset

The expected salary for this position at commencement of employment is between $83000 and $99450/year; however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical dental and vision coverage life insurance 401(k) eligibility and paid time off (including vacation sick leave time and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
