Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SQL/Python Developer with strong enterprise application development experience in Python and SQL ideally within financial services and risk management environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python development multithreading and multiprocessing strong SQL skills with exposure to Snowflake and experience working with AWS cloud technologies. This role requires someone who can work independently in a distributed Agile environment and contribute to the development of scalable financial applications with strong testing and CI/CD practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Build enterprise applications using Python in a financial services environment.
Develop and support Python multithreading and multiprocessing applications.
Work with SQL extensively for querying development and data processing ideally in Snowflake.
Utilize pandas and related Python libraries for data handling and application support.
Collaborate with Agile development teams to design develop and deliver scalable solutions.
Support development of financial applications ideally related to Risk Management.
Contribute to CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins and Git.
Write automated test cases using frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
Work independently in a distributed team environment while adapting to new technologies and project needs.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to technical and business challenges.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in Python; solid experience in building enterprise applications using Python
Experience with Python multithreading and multiprocessing applications

Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies
Experience working in Agile Development teams
