About the role

HealthFitness is looking for an energetic Sports Instructor to join the team at our corporate client site in Sunnyvale CA. In this role youll lead engaging sports and recreational activities create a fun and inclusive environment and help participants stay active motivated and connected through movement and play. Were seeking someone who is passionate about sports enjoys working with diverse groups and is committed to delivering exceptional participant experiences.

This is an as-needed position working when classes are scheduled with advance notice provided to support scheduling and availability.

Job Description:

• Provide high quality individual/group sports lessons to children and/or adults of varying abilities.

• Setup/breakdown of area before/after lessons.

• Assist in the promotion of sporting events and helping to answer member questions about classes leagues tournaments etc.

• Perform other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Adult & child CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Red Cross American Heart Association American Safety & Health Institute or National Safety Council.

• One (1) or more years sports teaching experience with children and/or adults.

• Professional appearance and attitude.

• Ensure students/players adhere to safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
