Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Stockton California. This role focuses on working with an adult and geriatric population helping patients recover from stroke neurological conditions and other medical issues affecting communication and swallowing. You will play a key role in improving patients quality of life by delivering individualized therapy plans that support functional communication and safe swallowing. Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language communication cognitive and swallowing disorders in patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
Provide therapy focused on speech cognition and dysphagia management
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Requirements
Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum of 6 months of recent SLP experience within the last 5 years preferred
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus
Strong clinical and communication skills

Required Skills:
Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred or required depending on facility policies Current BLS/CPR certification preferred 01 year of experience welcome (new graduates and CFY candidates encouraged to apply) Strong communication clinical reasoning and patient care skills
