We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to support students within a PK5 educational setting in the Cortez Colorado area. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP passionate about helping children develop communication and language skills in a collaborative school environment.
The selected candidate will manage a diverse caseload while partnering with educators families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and provide speech-language therapy services for school-aged students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Maintain accurate student documentation and progress reports
Collaborate with teachers parents and support staff
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
Support students with speech language communication and related developmental needs
Manage caseloads across assigned school sites
Requirements
Active Colorado SLP license through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) required at time of submission
Previous school-based or pediatric speech therapy experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage varying student needs and caseload priorities
Experience working collaboratively within educational teams
