We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist you will be responsible for assessing diagnosing and treating individuals with various speech language and communication disorders. You will work with a diverse population including children and adults and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and individualized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of speech language and communication abilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address speech language and communication disorders
- Monitor and document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate and involve family members and caregivers in treatment plans and strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors teachers and psychologists to provide a multidisciplinary approach to care
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing board
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferably with pediatric and/or adult populations
- Knowledge of various speech language and communication disorders and their treatment methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies
- Bilingual abilities a plus
