An established healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a specialty care team in a collaborative outpatient setting. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled provider who enjoys working closely with physicians managing complex patient cases and delivering high-quality specialty care.
The Physician Assistant will serve as a key member of the clinical team providing comprehensive patient management conducting evaluations coordinating treatment plans and supporting positive patient outcomes.
Position Summary
The Physician Assistant will provide specialized clinical care through patient assessments treatment planning patient education and ongoing care management. This role requires strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
Obtain and document medical histories and clinical findings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and coordinate ongoing care
Order review and interpret diagnostic testing
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatment options and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes
Participate in outpatient clinic activities and patient follow-up care
Respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations within scope of practice
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Active Arizona Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
National Physician Assistant certification
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a specialty practice setting
Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Preferred
Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
Experience in neurology surgery or other specialty care environments
Experience managing complex patient populations
