At our company we are dedicated to advancing the prevention and treatment of diseases in people and animals through innovative health solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced North America Transportation Analyst to join our team.
In conjunction with the other 3 operating regions North America Manufacturing Logistics supports the execution of our Companys manufacturing operations from inbound of raw materials to shipment of finished goods to customers and everything in-between. The team manages relationships with our transportation service providers; acts as transportation subject matter experts; and collaborates with departments and functions across our Company to bring life-saving medicines to the world.
The Transport Analyst role serves as the primary analyst and steward of transportation and logistics data for the North America region. Included in this role will be reporting data analysis metrics systems understanding and freight payment support. This position will also act as a customer shipment advocate regarding on time freight delivery and performance improvement between our Company its 3PLs and service providers. The ideal candidate is comfortable with large data sets and able to locate analyze and report on them.
Primary activities include but are not limited to:
Daily interaction with the distribution & transport suppliers regarding performance
Consulting with stakeholders on transportation opportunities challenges issues and implementations
Development and delivery of Performance Metrics Key Performance Indicators and reports
Transport Budget understanding analysis and delivery (including Value Capture tracking)
Freight Payment understanding and back-up support
Support for monthly and quarterly supplier business reviews
Participation in supplier meetings procurement bids and continuous improvement initiatives
Data aggregation analysis and reporting for North America Manufacturing Logistics and other stakeholders
Transportation and logistics master data maintenance
Superuser support for Transportation Management System-enabled sites in North America
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of supply chain experience
Experience with ERP operations and order management
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Familiarity with freight terms execution and regulation
Ability to work independently or in a team of diverse globally-located colleagues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Experience and Skills:
5 years of international and US domestic transportation experience
Deep experience with data analytics and large data sets including various applications like Power BI Qlik or other similar business intelligence tools
SAP ECC and GTS understanding
Experience with JDA/BlueYonder TMS
Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry operations terms and practices
Dangerous goods transportation certification
Education Requirement:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics or related field

The salary range for this role is
$79200.00 - $124700.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills geographic location government requirements and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.
