A Transportation Driver has a huge impact on the lives of residents and on the overall culture of the community. This position is an invaluable part of the Still Hopes family! Below is a picture of the impact the Transportation Driver has and what being a difference maker looks like!
Responsible for transporting residents to off campus activities and/or appointments.
Currently we are looking for a Transportation Driver for our life engagement department. All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid South Carolina Commercial Drivers License Class B with passenger endorsement and a verified three (3) year safe driving record. Duties include:
- Safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments grocery stores recreational activities and other destinations as needed.
- Assisting residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a friendly and supportive demeanor with residents at all times.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards for the vehicle including regular inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Keeping accurate records of transportation schedules mileage and any incidents or concerns that arise during transportation.
- Communicating effectively with residents family members and staff to coordinate transportation needs and address any special requirements or concerns.
