Job Summary
Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing(or 60 college credits) required.
A successful background check is required.
Prefer experience working with children.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience flexibility love for children confidentiality teamwork self-starter takes direction easily excellent communication skills behavior management skills assist with Special Education students on the Robotics team.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion respect responsibility self-discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Work with students throughoutpractice and competitionassisting with behavior. Refocus the student de-escalate negative behavior recognize and acknowledge positive behavior and work cooperatively with the Robotics coach and other Special Education staff.
