Software Testing Lead

ob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Testing Lead with a strong emphasis on Playwright knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the testing efforts of our software applications ensuring high-quality deliverables through effective testing strategies and methodologies. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing principles along with the ability to mentor and guide a team of testers in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead the software testing process including test planning test case design execution and reporting.
• Utilize Playwright to develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design effective test strategies.
• Mentor and train team members on best practices in software testing and automation.
• Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct regular reviews of test cases and test results to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies providing input on testing progress and quality metrics.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

• Strong expertise in Playwright for automated testing.
• Proficient in test case design and execution.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools and test management software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG).
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) are a plus.
