Job Summary
Our startup client is developing off-grid communications technology for Adventurers Firefighters DoD Rescue Operations and more. Theyre currently in need a Software QA Engineer to drive test initiatives across web mobile and hardware devices. Experience with mission-critical or regulated software development is highly preferred. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned QA Engineer to work on technology with meaningful real-world impact.
(Currently hiring Engineers based in San Francisco CA and Chicago IL; on-site 2-3 days a week)
An ideal candidate will have the following:
- 5-10 years of QA experience
- Background leading test automation initiatives
- Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g. Playwright Selenium Kotlin JavaScript Python).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience with satellite communication IoT devices and/or regulated software is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment while ensuring efficient QA execution and timely releases.
- BS degree in CS Mathematics or other STEM discipline
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
