Job Summary

Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid Software Engineer position located in Dahlgren VA. The Software Engineer will be responsible for safety-critical software development for missile systems and weapon system test equipment. The ideal candidate will drive design development integration and test efforts for Aegis Weapon Systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field

Experience in software engineering and writing code in C and VxWorks

Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting Aegis BMD AAW and missile flight test programs

Familiarity with Standard Missile initialization messages and telemetry formats

Experience with hardware/software integration for missile simulators and test equipment

Experience with VxWorks RTOS including SMP and multi-core architectures
