Requirements


Ideal candidate:

5 - 10 years of experience as a backend infrastructure or platform engineer that has seen multiple generations of platform growth and ownership at fast-growing winning start-ups

Work experience

Significant tenures (3-4 years) to see multiple generations of platform growth and ownership at fast-growing successful start-ups

Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams providing rigorous technical feedback reviewing designs and helping a junior team to grow

Background in security / high-sensitivity data environments and/or experience with data-driven product features / ML infrastructure


Hard skills

Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale with strong understanding of system design scalability and reliability principles

Built real-time streaming infrastructure with Kafka including event schema design ETL in the streaming layer and reverse ETL back into a production database

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and workflow orchestration tools


Soft skills
