Software Controls Engineer

Milacron is looking for a Software & Controls Development Engineer (Electronic Engineering Analyst/Engineer II) to join our team in Batavia this position you will develop and test control-system software for industrial machinery working across PLC-based machine controls and HMI Youll Do:Develop and test control-system software for industrial build and maintain features on existing control PLC and machine-control software using Structured Text C C and related programming and support web-based HMI applications using technologies such as JavaScript C# and software directly on machinery and troubleshoot interactions between software controls and mechanical with global engineering teams to design review and release controls and software with equipment and systems from outside vendors and software architecture standards coding guidelines and development :Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Mechatronics or a related development experience through professional work co-op internship or other relevant with PLCs machine controls embedded systems industrial automation or related experience with two or more of the following: IEC 61131-3 Structured Text C C C# Python or developing or working with HMI/user interface applications with motion control or robotic automation preferred.B&R Automation Studio and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 experience DevOps Git source control or CI/CD experience with industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP EtherCAT PROFINET Modbus OPC UA MQTT or serial communications Linux development experience -based development experience with AI-enabled engineering tools preferred.#LI-KH1 #LI-ONSITE
