Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for supervising a team of social workers ensuring the provision of high-quality care to patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to address the psychosocial needs of individuals and families. The Social Work Supervisor also participates in program development quality improvement initiatives and staff training.

Essential Functions
Supervise a team of social workers providing guidance support and mentorship.
-Provide clinical supervision to social workers offering expertise on complex cases and ethical considerations.
-Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective care plans.
-Oversee the coordination of social work services ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
-Review and monitor caseloads ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and individualized care.
-Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and therapists to address the psychosocial aspects of patient care.
-Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment planning.
-Contribute to the development and enhancement of social work programs and services.
Qualifications
Education
Masters Degree Social Work required

Licenses and Credentials
Social Worker Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker - LICSW - State License required
Experience
Clinical social work experience 3-5 years required
Supervisory or leadership experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of psychosocial assessment and intervention.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and documentation systems.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy.
