Job Summary
For over 125 years Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has been providing quality social services to the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens and currently offers 160-plus programs and services for children youth adults seniors and those struggling with mental Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is the nations largest youth employment program connecting NYC youth between the ages of 16 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experience each SYEP participants can explore different interests and career pathways; develop productive workplace habits engage in learning experiences that strengthen their social civic and leadership OF THE JOBUnder the supervision of the Unit manager the Site Monitor responsibilities are to provide supervision to the youth conduct weekly group lessons conduct orientation create lesson plans maintain program documentation and manage the timesheet constant supervision of youth working at the site. Facilitate an orientation which will include an overview of the program and work readiness lesson plans under the instruction of the Unit weekly group lessons under the instruction of the Unit well-documented client records and program statistics to comply with all agency/program/funding requirements including program files/client documentation timesheets worksite documentation and the educational component all need to be updated and timesheets process; collect and calculate timesheet hours and submit them to the Program with Unit Manager to obtain proper documentation for maintaining files as audit ready. These include weekly assessments licenses assurances worksite surveys and worksite sites a minimum of two times weekly for monitoring assessments and timesheet pickup. Identify youth needs and concerns to immediate supervisor to resolve matters quickly. This includes immediate conflict resolution and incident reports when :High School Diploma providing youth supervision in community organizing proving crisis intervention services English/Spanish to sit for periods of times reviewing client/worksite be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAble to travel between numerous sites.
