Shop Foreman

Ginop is seeking a full-timeShop Foreman for ourWilliamsburg MI this role you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction equipment maintenance and repair facility. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient functioning of equipment managing a team of technicians and maintaining a safe working environment. You will coordinate with various departments to prioritize repairs and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize Responsibilities:Lead a team of technicians providing guidance training and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety tasks effectively manage workload distribution and maintain a positive and productive work the diagnosis maintenance and repair of a wide range of construction equipment including but not limited to excavators bulldozers loaders and thorough inspections to identify mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues and develop appropriate repair strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all regular safety meetings inspections and training sessions to promote awareness and prevent quality control measures to ensure that all repairs and maintenance activities meet industry standards and customer post-repair inspections and performance tests to verify the effectiveness of work accurate records of equipment maintenance history repairs performed and parts usage using digital and/or paper-based reports on equipment status repair costs and operational efficiency to support decision-making :Proven experience in a similar role within the construction equipment industry with a strong understanding of equipment mechanics and repair knowledge of various construction equipment types and their components including engines transmissions hydraulic systems and electrical and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact effectively with team members clients and in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other software tools for inventory management and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced or training in equipment maintenance and repair such as ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training programs is preferred.
