ToyotasExport & Supply ProjectDepartment is looking for a passionate and highly-motivatedShipping Management Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to Manage 60 North American suppliers to ensure high quality & on-time shipping to Toyota manufacturing plants around the world.

Reporting to the Export & Supply Projects Manager the person in this role will support the Export & Supply Project departments objective to ensure high quality & on-time shipments to export customers.

What youll be doing

• Support the Export Shipping Management departments objective to ensure the shipping of domestic parts to overseas Toyota plants are completed on time.

• Monitor supplier on-time compliance reschedule miss shipments and actively support supplier in recovery plans.

• Process and monitor air and trial orders to ensure on-time delivery to overseas Toyota plants.

• Engage with supplier(s)/cross docks to solve supply chain issues related to missed shipments quality and shipping compliance.

• Communicate directly with overseas customers regarding supply chain disruptions and actions being taken to resolve disruptions.

• Meet regularly with cross docks and Logistics Operations to monitor freight flow in and out of the dock and support both groups where freight is not moving.

• Train North American suppliers on export unique processes and support supplier readiness leading up to SOP.

What you bring

• Bachelors degree (Supply Chain Management Operations Management or Business Management) or 3 years of applicable work experience

• 3 years of experience in supply chain management

• 3 years of experience in fast-paced environment working with multiple stakeholders in problem solving and coordinating within supply chain operations

• Strong problem solving quality process development and kaizen thinking

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge and understanding to analyze data quickly and efficiently

Added bonus if you have

• Toyota supply chain management or logistics experience

• Proven demonstration of problem-solving principles such as TBP or 5 why analysis

• S/4 Hana (SAP) experience
