Senior Vice President, Operations

Position SummaryThe Senior Vice President of Operations is a key executive leader responsible for driving operational excellence financial performance and resident satisfaction across a portfolio of approximately 6575 senior living communities. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer the SVP provides strategic leadership to Regional Vice Presidents and operational teams while fostering a culture rooted in servant leadership accountability collaboration and continuous executive partners closely with leaders across Clinical Sales & Marketing People Finance Quality Development and Asset Management to ensure consistent execution of company strategy and achievement of organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative leader who inspires others develops talent and delivers exceptional operational results through influence partnership and a people-first leadership ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipProvide strategic oversight for a portfolio of 6575 senior living communities across multiple and develop a high-performing team of approximately 710 direct reports including Regional Vice Presidents and other senior operational operational performance through established key performance indicators including occupancy revenue NOI resident satisfaction quality outcomes regulatory compliance and employee consistent execution of company initiatives while maintaining operational excellence across all a culture of accountability transparency continuous improvement and operational CollaborationPartner with executive and functional leaders to align operational priorities with organizational cross-functional collaboration among Clinical Sales & Marketing People Finance Quality Culinary Facilities and other support enterprise-wide initiatives that improve resident experience operational efficiency and financial as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to executive & Talent DevelopmentBuild mentor and develop operational leaders capable of driving sustained organizational through servant leadership by empowering teams removing barriers and creating an environment where leaders and associates can clear expectations provide ongoing coaching and hold leaders accountable for achieving measurable succession planning and leadership development throughout the & Strategic InitiativesProvide operational leadership and integration support for mergers acquisitions and portfolio with development and integration teams to ensure successful onboarding of newly acquired opportunities to improve scalability operational consistency and organizational due diligence activities by evaluating operational readiness risks and degree required; Masters degree in Healthcare Administration Business Administration or related field of 15 years of progressive operational leadership experience in senior living healthcare hospitality or a multi-site service success leading large geographically dispersed portfolios of 65 experience leading senior operational leaders and managing teams of 710 direct financial acumen with a track record of improving operational and financial supporting mergers acquisitions integrations and organizational growth executive presence communication and relationship-building to travel extensively to support community CompetenciesThe successful candidate will demonstrate:Servant leadership that inspires trust engagement and high collaboration across executive and functional operational and strategic decision-making for results while empowering others to succeed.A commitment to developing leaders and building high-performing resilience and a continuous improvement for delivering exceptional resident experiences and supporting team members.
