Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting Developer to design develop and maintain batch processing and automation solutions in a UNIX/Linux environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in shell scripting system administration automation and leading development efforts within an agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain shell scripts using Bash and Korn Shell (ksh)
• Develop and implement batch processing solutions for automation of system administration tasks data processing and file operations
• Analyze business and technical requirements to design efficient and scalable solutions
• Execute and optimize SQL logic using SQL Plus in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs scripts and system processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements and issue resolution
• Lead and mentor small development teams within an agile project environment
• Ensure code quality performance and adherence to best practices
• Maintain technical documentation and support deployment processes

Required Qualifications

• 7 years (84 months) of experience writing Bash and Korn Shell (ksh) scripts
• 7 years of experience working within UNIX/Linux environments via command line
• 6 years (72 months) of experience developing batch processing and automation solutions
• 6 years of experience performing requirement analysis and solution design
• 5 years (60 months) of experience leading development teams in an agile environment
• 3 years (36 months) of experience using SQL Plus to execute SQL queries in UNIX/Linux
