Job Summary
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end execution of technical programs from initiation to delivery.
Manage the R&D NPI and manufacture activities to meet the customer target spec and delivery time schedule.
Defineprogramscopegoalssuccessmetricsanddeliverablesincollaborationwith stakeholders.
Createandmanagedetailedprojectplansschedulesresourceallocationsandrisk mitigation strategies.
Monitorprogressidentifyandresolveissuesandensureaccountabilityacrossall teams.
Maintain cost models and drive organizations to improve them.
Interfacewithcustomersandleadsuchengagementsincludingpresentationsand issue resolution.
Communicateprogramstatusrisksandmilestonesclearlytostakeholdersand executive leadership.
Drive continuous improvement in processes tools and execution efficiency.
Education & Experience
Advanceddegreeinopticalengineeringelectricalengineeringphysicsorother opto-electronic discipline.
15 years in technical program management or product line management
Skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellentformalandinformalcommunicationsskillsincludingwrittenandoral discussions
Ability to function effectively in both technical and business environments.
Able to function in English.Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus.
Working Conditions
This position is on-site in Sunnyvale CA
May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
Mayrequireoccasionalovertimeandflexibilityinworkhourstoaccommodatethe executives needs
Physical Requirements
Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
Safety Requirements

Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed proper training work instructionsrequired PPE is available and will monitor compliance.
