Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to construction clients providing strategic tax planning consulting and business advisory services.
• Lead complex tax engagements for contractors developers and related entities including multi-state compliance long-term contract accounting and entity structuring.
• Proactively identify tax-saving opportunities and provide guidance on emerging tax legislation and industry trends.
• Manage and expand key client relationships ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnership.
• Drive business development efforts by identifying growth opportunities participating in industry networking and supporting proposal and prospect activities.
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions that address clients business and tax needs.
• Provide oversight of engagement quality risk management profitability and timely delivery.
• Mentor and develop managers seniors and staff while fostering a high-performing collaborative team culture.
• Contribute to practice growth initiatives talent development and the overall success of Wipflis Construction Practice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• CPA required.
• 10 years of public accounting tax experience including significant experience serving construction industry clients.
• Strong technical expertise in construction accounting pass-through taxation long-term contract accounting and multi-state taxation.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and serve as a strategic advisor to business owners and executives.
• Demonstrated success developing talent leading teams and driving client and practice growth.
• Strong communication leadership and business development skills.
