Job Description:
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will support and modernize enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) systems by leading migration efforts optimizing secure data exchange solutions and ensuring high availability and compliance. You will play a key role in transitioning legacy file transfer platforms to modern solutions while maintaining uninterrupted service for large scale mission critical data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of file transfer systems from legacy platforms to modern MFT solutions.
• Design configure and customize secure file transfer workflows and integrations.
• Develop and maintain scripts to support automation and system operations.
• Troubleshoot complex file transfer networking and system issues.
• Support database architecture and data flow for file transfer services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with security audit and operational standards.
• Document system configurations processes and migration procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support across teams and departments.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• 7 years of experience working with MFT platforms such as MOVEit and MessageWay.
• Strong expertise in configuring troubleshooting and supporting file transfer systems.
• Experience with database architecture supporting enterprise file transfer environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation development.
• Strong understanding of networking and secure file transfer protocols.
• Experience with SDLC practices and system implementation methodologies.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
• Ability to design scalable file transfer solutions aligned with business requirements.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
