Job Responsibilities:
Analyzing user requirements concept of operation documents and high levels systemarchitectures to develop system requirement specifications.
Develop technical and system architecture design documentation
Provides technical leadership for integration of requirements design and technology.
Incorporates new plans designs and systems into ongoing operations
What you need to have:
Fifteen (15) years of experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type andcomplexity.
Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems EngineeringScience Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college oruniversity. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Experience troubleshooting systems interface and Linux system administration as well asknowledge in SIGINT.
One (1) year of experience installing maintaining and testing SIGINT systems
Active Security Clearance Required

In May of 2019 Amazon opened its first AWS Ground Station a virtualized segment for ground processing of satellite signals that support 54 MHz uplink and 500 MHz downlink processing using the proven AWS Cloud Services and technologies. Microsoft Orbital and Google were close behind with their own satellite processing architectures based on cloud services and technologies. At the same time technologies supporting next-generation 5G exploded into the same cloud technology arena. Geon has been awarded a prime contract to leverage these very
same technologies to build next-generation Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions for the defense and intelligence industry. Geon Technologies provides wage ranges in accordance with the Maryland Wage Range Transparency law. Paywithin the range will be decided by the company in its sole discretion and will be based on several factors including but not limited to experience and/or other qualifications. The projected pay range for this position is $180000- $210000.
