What You Will Do:

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows VMWare and RedhatEnterpriseLinuxenvironment.

• Provide daily checks in multiple data centers.

• Understandingand knowledge of Windows Server internals and Linux fundamentals to include DNS DHCP AD and server replication methods

• Working as a team member in troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware operating systems (OS) and program specific software.

• Experience data backup uses and technologies. Install and help configure software applications requested by end users.

• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

• Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

• Travelrequiredas businessneedsdictate to other US Domestic locations up to 10% per year.

• Full time 100% onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

• Must be able to obtain a transferable U.S. government issuedsecret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship isrequired as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must obtain an interim clearance before setting a start date.

• Must have Windows and/or Linux experience.

• Must have experience with ActiveDirectory VMware Administration backup and recovery.

• Must have experience with performing functional system checks.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification)

• Experience with NISPOM JAFAN JSIG DFARS and/or DoD/RMF

• Experience with data storage NAS and SAN technologies andsolutions

• Experience with using Information Technology project lifecyclemanagementprocesses.

• Experience using VMWare vCenter vSphere and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.

• Experiencesupportingengineers in software simulations and hardware development.

• Experience with Microsoft WSUS MECM and/or Exchange

• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linuxenvironment

• Scripting Experience

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
