In this role you will be working as a Senior Structural Project Engineer for a client in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for design of structural systems to account for transport live and seismic loads.
This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- 6 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD (Inventor or Solidworks)
- Review structural designs for compliance to codes (UFC IBC ANSI ASCE)
- Attend job kick off meetings and participate in design reviews with customers
- Prepare and update task lists
- Track schedules and budgets
- Provide technical input to the CAD design tea
- Interface with other department to resolve technical issues
