Senior Storage Administrator

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

Entarian is looking for a Senior Storage Administrator for a mixed and growing environment of various storage Hardware.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with the existing OS and Storage teams to manage maintain deploy troubleshoot and support servers and storage systems for the program and its customers
• Assist with implementing new system Hardware and Software and provide input for developing local operating procedures and policies as needed
• Be adept at monitoring the ongoing operation of the systems and providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed
• Ability to recommend demonstrate and implement technologies to help expand upgrade and increase efficiencies to the current environment

Salary range: $100000.00 - $140000.00

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• CompTIA Security
• Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e. MCSE Server CCNA RedHat Palo etc.) can be waived for 30 days after project join date
• Experience in Computer Science or IT
• Minimum three years experience in design installation configuration security and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems
• Minimum three years experience maintain storage and network policies and standards
• Minimum three years experience refreshing data from one environment to another at the request of the application development staff
• Minimum three years experience creating maintaining following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes disaster recovery and common problem resolution
• Minimum three years experience with MS-Windows Solaris and RHEL/OEL Linux environments
• Minimum three years experience administering applicable storage networks
• Minimum three years experience with VMWare 7.x or greater
• Minimum three years experience with network communication (IP based)
• Installation and configuration experience of backup SW with Windows Server 2019 Solaris 11 RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and higher
• Experience with both Windows Powershell and Bash shell scripting
• Strong CLI skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience
• Three or more years experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) SRG RMF SCA-V and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA)
