Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Entarian is looking for a Senior Storage Administrator for a mixed and growing environment of various storage Hardware.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with the existing OS and Storage teams to manage maintain deploy troubleshoot and support servers and storage systems for the program and its customers
Assist with implementing new system Hardware and Software and provide input for developing local operating procedures and policies as needed
Be adept at monitoring the ongoing operation of the systems and providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed
Ability to recommend demonstrate and implement technologies to help expand upgrade and increase efficiencies to the current environment
Salary range: $100000.00 - $140000.00
Minimum Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
CompTIA Security
Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e. MCSE Server CCNA RedHat Palo etc.) can be waived for 30 days after project join date
Experience in Computer Science or IT
Minimum three years experience in design installation configuration security and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems
Minimum three years experience maintain storage and network policies and standards
Minimum three years experience refreshing data from one environment to another at the request of the application development staff
Minimum three years experience creating maintaining following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes disaster recovery and common problem resolution
Minimum three years experience with MS-Windows Solaris and RHEL/OEL Linux environments
Minimum three years experience administering applicable storage networks
Minimum three years experience with VMWare 7.x or greater
Minimum three years experience with network communication (IP based)
Installation and configuration experience of backup SW with Windows Server 2019 Solaris 11 RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and higher
Experience with both Windows Powershell and Bash shell scripting
Strong CLI skills
Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player
Desired Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience
Three or more years experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) SRG RMF SCA-V and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA)
