Job Description Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to join our team and drive comprehensive quality assurance for ModMeds cloud platform and services. This role provides an excellent opportunity to leverage both manual and automation expertise to ensure the development and delivery of reliable performance and scalable software releases.

What youll do

• Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases (manual and automated) and test strategies across functional and non-functional areas.

• Develop maintain and enhance the automated testing framework using industry best practices.

• Ensure deliverables meet the functional and non-functional criteria (e.g. performance security) and drive changes proactively where outcomes are misaligned.

• Align QA efforts with business objectives by collaborating closely with senior engineers product managers and cross-functional team members across geos.

• Identify document and track defects working closely with development teams for timely resolution.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by guiding other engineers through test design automation and operational reviews.

• Providing coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.

What youll bring

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 6 years of Quality Assurance experience including a minimum of 3 years focused on test automation.

• Exceptional skills in designing and implementing test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Playwright).

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Java Python JavaScript).

• Experience with testing RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Experience with public cloud services preferably AWS.

• Full stack QA experience (UI API operations/CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functional lines and cross geo teams.

• Healthcare Interoperability experience (HL7 FHIR) is advantageous.
