Senior Software Engineer – Python

About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer Python/TypeScript to build scale and maintain production software for a rapidly growing technology platform.

This role offers end-to-end ownership across backend services full-stack applications infrastructure and scalable systems. The ideal candidate has strong computer science fundamentals excellent coding skills and experience delivering production software in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain scalable backend and full-stack services.
• Own features from architecture and technical design through deployment and production support.
• Develop production applications using Python TypeScript and modern software technologies.
• Identify and implement scalability reliability and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Engineering teams to develop robust technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and improve system performance.
• Contribute to architecture engineering standards and development best practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
• Participate in technical interviews and help evaluate engineering talent.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of professional software engineering experience; candidates with 6 years may be considered for exceptional technical backgrounds.
• Strong experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures algorithms and system design.
• Experience building and scaling production software and distributed/scalable systems.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced technology environment.
• Demonstrated career growth and increasing technical responsibility.
• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in New York City.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; TN or E-3 visa holders may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GCP Kubernetes Docker or Terraform.
• Experience with Go or other modern programming languages.
• Experience scaling systems through significant growth.
• Startup or growth-stage technology experience.
• Fintech or healthcare technology experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• $210000$250000 annual salary for the New York market based on experience and qualifications.
