Client: Squad. Role company: January Technologies. Senior Software Engineer across Consumer Conversation (AI/LLM) or Client Experience. Location: New York or San Francisco hybrid 3 days/week in office. Compensation: $205K-$225K plus equity. Visa transfers accepted by default; new visas case-by-case. Openings: up to 12 seats.

January is a Series B fintech transforming debt collections through AI data science and a borrower-first approach. Senior Engineers are backend-leaning but full-stack capable and operate like product owners: setting technical direction owning outcomes mentoring others and collaborating across product/design/operations. Priority teams are Consumer Conversation focused on LLM/AI-powered communication and Client Experience focused on data integrations and client-facing technical interfaces.
