This role supports program execution by working closely with Program Management Engineering and Finance teams to monitor and manage cost schedule and resource performance. The position ensures compliance with contractual reporting requirements with a primary focus on sector-level program reporting.
The Senior Program Controls Analyst plays a key role in analyzing program performance data identifying trends and risks and providing actionable insights to support decision-making across mission-critical development programs.
Key Responsibilities
Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track program performance
Manage and monitor program cost schedule and budget execution
Analyze program financial and performance data to identify key insights and variances
Collaborate closely with Engineering teams Program Managers and PMO staff
Prepare financial and performance data for CDRL submissions briefings presentations and status reports
Support preparation and submission of Earned Value reports (Formats 1 5) and other contractual deliverables
Track cost labor and resource allocation against program budgets and forecasts
Partner with Program Managers to identify risks opportunities and mitigation strategies
Support proposal development and cost estimation activities (highly preferred)
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve program execution and performance
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field
10 years of experience in Program Controls Analyst (PCA) or equivalent roles
Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with proposal support is highly preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience working in both large and small organizational environments
Background supporting development programs and engineering labor programs
Security Clearance
TS/SCI clearance preferred
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role
