POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Strategic Pricing team to support strategic pricing initiatives that enable revenue growth margin optimization and competitive positioning. This role partners closely with Product Management Sales Finance and IT to ensure effective pricing strategy tracking and execution.

The ideal candidate brings strongdataanalyticaland technicalskills commercial acumen and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executeonpricing strategies to support businessobjectivesand profitability targets

• Analyze competitive benchmarks customer behavior market dynamics and cost structures to inform pricing decisions

• Create pricing targets andestablishperformance benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies

• Lead various pricing cycles includingprice book rolloutscustomerspecificpricerenewalanalysisand troubleshoot issues across system integrations

• Perform cross-channel and customer segmentation pricing analysis

• Develop pricing recommendations across the product lifecycle including NPI pricing

• Evaluate deal-level pricing strategies tooptimizemargins and financial outcomes

• Leverage SQL and Python to structure and analyze large datasets for pricing optimization

• Automate pricing recommendation standardization and process improvements

• Develop andmaintainPower BI dashboards to support pricing analytics performance tracking and executive reporting; comfortable operating as a Power BI developer supporting end users and leadership

• Ad hocevaluation ofpricing requests discounts and deal-based pricing scenarios

• Monitor pricing compliance and adherence to corporate pricing policies and governance frameworks

• Prepare executive-ready insights reports and recommendations on pricing performance

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Environment: On-site office

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced SQL experience building andoptimizingcomplex queries joins and data transformations across large relational datasets

• Advancedproficiencyin Excel

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven recommendations
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

• Hands-on experience with CPQ(Configure Price Quote)systems ( N)

• Broad understanding of end-user applications and AE products; familiarity with power supplies or semiconductor equipment is a plus but not required

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present effectively to senior stakeholders
• Develop Python-based solutions to extract and analyze competitor data from APIs and other data sources(preferred)
• Proficiencyin Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization(preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years of pricing commercial analytics or financeexperience

• Experience supporting manufacturing distribution industrial or B2B business environments
• Experience with price book management discount governance and pricing approval frameworks

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in Pricing Business Analytics Finance Economics or a related field

COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including but not limited to skill set level of experience and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $85000to $115000per year.
