Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team As a Senior Oracle Developer you will be responsible for designing developing testing and implementing Oraclebased solutions to meet our business needs You will work closely with our crossfunctional teams to analyze requirements develop technical specifications and deliver high quality solutions

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain Oracle an Oracle database application including stored procedures triggers functions and packages
• Perform data modelling schema design and database optimization to ensure optimal performance and scalability
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop and maintain data integration processes between Oracle and other systems
• Troubleshoot and debug issues
• Conduct code reviews performance tuning and optimization to ensure code quality and efficiency
• Stay up to date with the latest Oracle technologies and practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed
• Operate with limited supervision

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Oracle developer with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutions
• Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL programming with experience of Oracle database performance tuning and optimization
• Experience with Oracle database administration tasks such as backup and recovery user management and security
• Strong understanding and advocate of good database design principles data modelling techniques and relational database concepts
• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to affectively collaborate with cross functional teams
• Experience with Git and continuous integration continuous deployment pipelines

Mandatory experience:-

• total years of experience in PLSQL performance tuning. Preferred experience 7 years
• Oracle version used in the most recent project (Oracle 19c preferred or higher)
• Test handling large datasets/ tables(50 GB) ask any tables they remember and the size of the table and the information that is stored in table relevant to their project domain
• Test experience on table partitioning strategies - Range partitioning list partitioning and Hash partitioning. Ask why and how they used these strategies in the project must explain with used case and expect confident answers
• Test Performance tuning experience with actual hands-on. Candidate must explain using STAR methods no genetic answers/ solutions expected. Expect candidates talk about Oracle Optimizer EXPLAIN plans and AWR/ ASH
• Test PLSQL experience with processing large datasets using BULK COLLECT and FORALL. Candidate must explain picking a scenario in project where he used these skills.
• Test experience on Advanced SQL using Window functions. Candidate talks about Rownumber Rank DenseRank Lag and Lead windows functions confidently .

Nice to have

Oracle Certification

Knowledge of other database technologies eg MongoDB SQL Server

Experience of using Tableau with Oracle

Starburst or other Data virtualization technology experience

Python Development experience

Experience using MagicDraw
