Senior Manager Supplier Quality

Leads and directs a portion of the Supplier Quality organization establishing strategies and processes to ensure suppliers meet quality reliability and compliance requirements in support of program and production objectives. Serves as a key interface between supply chain engineering and operations to drive continuous improvement across the supplier base.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies aligned with company goals and program requirements
• Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) responsible for supplier qualification audits and performance monitoring
• Establish and maintain supplier qualification and approval processes including first article inspections (FAI) and production part approval processes (PPAP)
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) processes for supplier-related nonconformances
• Manage supplier scorecards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve supplier quality performance
• Partner with Procurement and Engineering to assess and mitigate supply chain risk
• Support supplier development initiatives to build long-term supplier capability and capacity
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (e.g. AS9100 ISO 9001 NADCAP)
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by qualifying suppliers for new materials components and processes
• Represent Supplier Quality in design reviews program reviews and executive-level briefings

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality or a related technical field
• 10 years of experience in supplier quality manufacturing quality or a related discipline
• 5 years of people management experience
• Demonstrated experience leading supplier audits and qualification activities
• Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA 8D APQP SPC and MSA
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent quality management system standards
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace defense or advanced manufacturing industries
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
• Experience supporting hardware development from design through production
• Familiarity with government/FAR/DFARS procurement quality requirements
