Job Summary
Oracle is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead critical execution for the Data Center Software and Automation team enabling the delivery of some of the worlds largest AI centric data centers around the globe.
This role requires a strong cross-organizational leader who can operate across engineering product operations infrastructure and executive stakeholder groups to drive alignment remove blockers and deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is a clear confident communicator who can translate complex technical and operational issues into actionable decisions influence across organizational boundaries and communicate effectively up through executive channels.
We are looking for a leader who combines strong software delivery discipline with the ability to scale teams programs and execution models in a fast-moving cloud infrastructure environment. This individual will help evolve software and automation capabilities that are central to OCIs global growth while building a culture of accountability collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Development Manager you will report directly to the Product Director and lead a team of software engineers responsible for the design development testing deployment and operation of critical software and automation capabilities for Oracles next-generation Cloud Infrastructure.
You will be responsible for driving execution across high-priority initiatives managing delivery commitments and ensuring the team is focused on the work that matters most to Oracles global cloud expansion. This includes partnering closely with product architecture regional build teams data center operations and senior leadership to align priorities clarify ownership and accelerate decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead mentor and grow a high-performing software engineering team.
- Drive critical execution across cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership accountability and delivery discipline.
- Communicate program status risks tradeoffs and recommendations clearly to senior and executive leadership.
- Build strong partnerships across engineering product infrastructure operations and global delivery teams.
- Translate complex technical and operational challenges into clear business impact execution plans and leadership decisions.
- Own delivery planning roadmap execution and prioritization across multiple programs in a fast-paced Agile and DevOps environment.
- Identify and remove organizational blockers that slow execution or create delivery risk.
- Partner with architects and senior engineers to ensure platform designs are scalable reliable secure and operationally sound.
- Improve engineering processes delivery predictability operational rigor and overall team effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of collaboration urgency ownership transparency and continuous improvement.
Develop team members through coaching feedback career planning and clear performance expectations. - Represent the team in senior leadership forums business reviews roadmap discussions and executive-level communications.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $118300 to $251600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus equity and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
