The Senior Import/Export Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing complex international logistics activities to ensure the compliant timely and costeffective movement of goods across global markets. This role serves as a subjectmatter expert in trade compliance customs regulations and international transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate endtoend import and export operations for highvalue timesensitive or regulated shipments.
• Prepare review and approve all required international shipping documentation including commercial invoices packing lists certificates of origin bills of lading and export declarations.
• Collaborate with Legal to ensure full compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations including CBP EAR ITAR OFAC and other governing bodies.
• Perform advanced product classification using HTS and ECCN codes; maintain classification databases and documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for freight forwarders customs brokers and carriers to resolve escalated issues.
• Monitor global trade regulatory changes and advise management on potential impacts to operations.
• Lead investigations and resolution of complex shipment delays customs holds and compliance discrepancies.
• Support internal audits external audits and trade compliance assessments; maintain accurate and complete records for regulatory retention.
• Collaborate with Procurement Operations Warehouse and Finance to support sourcing decisions inventory planning and cost control initiatives.
• Analyze freight spend identify costsaving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.
• Provide training guidance and mentorship to junior logistics or import/export staff.
• Participate in crossfunctional projects related to supply chain optimization system enhancements and compliance initiatives.

• 7 years of progressive experience in import/export operations international logistics or trade compliance.

• Prior experience in a senior lead or specialistlevel logistics role strongly preferred.
