Job title: Senior Director Analog Design

Job Responsibilities**

* Define and execute the strategic roadmap for analog IC design aligning with overall product and technology objectives.
* Lead mentor and grow a team of analog design engineers fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and technical excellence.
* Oversee the complete analog design lifecycle from concept and architectural definition to detailed design simulation layout verification and silicon validation.
* Drive the selection and implementation of appropriate analog design methodologies tools and best practices to optimize design efficiency and quality.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including systems engineering digital design product engineering and operations to ensure seamless product integration and successful production.
* Manage project schedules resources and budgets effectively ensuring timely delivery of high-quality analog designs.
* Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and competitive landscape in analog design incorporating relevant advancements into future product developments.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners vendors and academic institutions to leverage external expertise and resources.
* Provide technical guidance and critical design reviews for complex analog circuit blocks.
* Contribute to intellectual property generation through patent disclosures and publications.

Job Qualifications**

* Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in analog IC design with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
* Proven expertise in designing and bringing to production complex analog circuits for high-speed optical transceivers laser drivers or similar high-performance analog applications.
* Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics analog circuit topologies (e.g. ADCs DACs PLLs TIAs high-speed interfaces) and their practical implementation.
* Extensive experience with industry-standard EDA tools for schematic capture simulation (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso Spectre Hspice) and layout.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large diverse engineering teams.
* Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex analog designs on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Familiarity with silicon validation characterization and production test methodologies.
* Experience with process technology selection and managing foundry relationships is a plus.
