1. Design develop and maintain advanced data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau Power BI or similar platforms.
2. Translate business requirements into effective visual solutions that communicate insights clearly and accurately.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and ensure visualizations align with strategic objectives.
4. Optimize performance and usability of dashboards and reports for various audiences.
5. Mentor junior developers and contribute to visualization standards and best practices
6. Stay current with emerging trends in data visualization and analytics technologies.

1. Protects companys intellectual property and the privacy of customers data.
2. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Education Licensure or Certification:

Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Experience or Related Experience

5years of experience in data visualization or BI development
Experience in one or more visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Qlik Looker)
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling

Specialized Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python R) and web technologies (e.g JavaScript HTML CSS) is a plus
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey data insights effectively
Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction transformation and analysis across large complex datasets preferred.
Hands-on expertise with Snowflake: data modeling performance tuning and working with semi- structured data (e.g. JSON XML) is a plus
Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools like SSIS Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory preferred
Understanding of data warehousing concepts dimensional modeling and best practices for scalable analytics preferred
Experience integrating visualization tools with cloud-based data sources and APIs preferred
Knowledge of data governance security and compliance in cloud environments preferred
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
Knowledge of UX/UI principles in dashboard design is preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work is generally performed in an office environment or remote setting in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.

Work requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Incumbent must be able to use a telephone or head set equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is
required. At times incumbents are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Incumbent may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of decreased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
