Senior Construction Inspector

What you will do:

• Monitoring on-site construction activities.
• Inspecting materials in accordance with the clients scope of services (plans specifications and special provisions). Transporting samples to be tested in a Department laboratory or appropriate facility.
• Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events. Fulfilling other duties as needed.
• Preparing daily inspection reports.
• Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the clients requirements).
• Performs inspection of the contractors quality control procedures.
• Performs material testing and verifies that procedures are in conformance with the approved Quality Control Plan and established procedures.
• Reviews material testing procedures and results for conformance to the contract and measures quantities of materials placed.
• May be required to perform sampling and/or inplace testing of soil aggregate base concrete and asphalt concrete pavement.

What you will bring:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of DOT or Municipality CEI Inspection Services.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Valid States drivers license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.
• Aggregate Production Certification
• Bituminous Street Certification
• Bridge Construction
• ACI Certification
• Concrete Field Inspection
• Grading and Base Tester
• Grading and Base Inspector
