Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 24 months experience with medical insurance billing clinical or outpatient coding.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) orRegistered Health Information Technician Certification (RHIT) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Coding Specialist - Physician based (CCS-P) or National Healthcare Association Certification. (NHA)
