Senior Client Advisor (Accounting)

Growing fintech company who helps businesses with accounting and advisory services is seeking a client service advisor to join their team. The Senior Client Advisor manages a portfolio of clients and serves as their primary financial partner delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. This role combines client leadership team oversight and hands-on accounting in a fast-paced cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.

• Deliver monthly financial reviews close processes and accurate financial reporting.

• Lead and review the work of 13 bookkeepers across AP/AR reconciliations and transaction processing.

• Manage month-end close general ledger and accrual-based accounting.

• Reconcile tax returns to financial records and resolve discrepancies.

• Drive service quality timeliness and budget adherence.

• Implement and manage cloud accounting tools and integrations.

• Identify process improvements and recommend technology to increase efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years experience leading bookkeepers or staff accountants.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.

• Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms.

• Background in public accounting consulting or professional services.

• Strong accrual accounting expertise; experience across SMB tech e-commerce or real estate a plus.
