GRF Focus Partners Business Management is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper ideally entertainment/touring experience to join our team of dedicated professionals. The Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for computing classifying and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of assigned clients are accurate as well as assisting an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager in overseeing assigned client finances.

This position operates on a hybrid schedule out of our Nashville TN office.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Perform credit card and bank reconciliations as well as cash flow reports and cash balances as required

  • Maintain electronic filing system

  • General communication with vendors clients and client representatives via phone email and in-person

  • Assist in assembling information for year-end tax packages for accountants

  • Provide minimal assistance on insurance questions

  • Identify trace and correct errors

  • Prepare/review 1099 reports and journal entries

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll as well as applicable reporting

  • Print reports (such as financial statements) for review

  • Informal supervision and training of Assistant Bookkeeper(s) and/or Bookkeeper(s)

  • Limited review and approval of the accounts payable accounts receivable credit card and bankreconciliations prepared by Bookkeeper(s) and/or Assistant Bookkeeper(s)

  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of bookkeeping experience within an entertainment business management firm or 3 years of general accounting experience required

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting/Financeis preferred

  • Advanced knowledge ofAgilLink software is required

  • Excellent communication skills (in person on the phone and via email)

  • Ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus with a keen eye for detail and sense of urgency

  • Solid interpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e. communication time management emotional intelligence adaptability active listening critical-thinking etc.)

This is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $65000- $75000. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience subject matter expertise geographic location where work will be performed and the applicants skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to medical dental vision life insurance and 401(k).
