Job Summary

Position: Senior Back End Developer III - AdTech Focus

Location: Richfield MN (Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite per week preferred; remote considered)

Employment Type: Contract (7-12 Months)

Project Scope

Enhance seller-facing campaign management workflows.
Integrate with external advertising platforms (e.g. Criteo) and ad-serving systems.
Implement reporting spend tracking and billing event pipelines.
Improve campaign synchronization and product eligibility systems.
Modernize frontend and backend architecture for scalability and maintainability.

Key Skills & Experience

7-10 years of backend development experience.
Strong expertise in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot/WebFlux.
Hands-on experience with microservices and REST API development.
Deep understanding of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
Knowledge of distributed systems concurrency and asynchronous processing.
Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL performance optimization.
Experience with Kubernetes CI/CD and cloud-native applications.
Production support monitoring and observability expertise.
Strong debugging problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.
Ability to independently own features/services end-to-end.
Experience building scalable high-throughput systems.

Bonus Skills:

AdTech domain experience.
BigQuery/GCP exposure.
Reactive programming.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
