Job Summary
Seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong SAP BTP expertise to design develop test and support cloud-based SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP development on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) cloud-native application development performance optimization troubleshooting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle design development testing deployment and support activities.
- Develop and enhance SAP ABAP applications on SAP BTP.
- Design scalable resilient and cloud-native SAP solutions aligned with SAP BTP architecture best practices.
- Collaborate with functional and business teams to understand requirements and design integration solutions.
- Perform Unit Testing System Testing and Integration Testing documenting test results throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical production issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Optimize ABAP programs for performance and scalability within SAP BTP environments.
- Perform debugging troubleshooting and performance tuning activities.
- Utilize SAP BTP services including SAP HANA SAP Fiori and related cloud services.
- Work effectively within onsite/offshore delivery models and Agile projects.
Required Skills
SAP ABAP & SAP BTP
- 8 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Expertise in cloud-based ABAP development and SAP BTP services.
- Experience with:
- SAP BTP Build
- SAP HANA
- SAP Fiori
- Cloud-native application development
- SAP integrations
Technical Skills
- Strong ABAP development and debugging skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in performance optimization and code tuning.
- Knowledge of SAP development best practices and system architecture.
Testing & Support
- Unit System and Integration Testing experience.
- Strong production support and incident management skills.
- RCA and defect resolution expertise.
Collaboration
- Ability to work independently and within global teams.
- Experience working with onsite/offshore models.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- SAP BTP and/or SAP ABAP certifications.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Customer-facing consulting experience.
- Understanding of SAP Security and Authorization concepts.
