Core Work hours: Monday Friday 8:00a-5:00p; Hybrid typical schedule is 2 days in office per week.
Summary
Serves as a strategic legal business partner to Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) and/or THR System Services departments with primary responsibility for commercial transactions supporting procurement and supply chain initiatives (as assigned). Drafts reviews and negotiates a broad range of vendor/supplier and services agreements; provides practical timely risk guidance to operational leaders; and identifies legal and regulatory risks and trends impacting contracting and supplier relationships. Works with minimal supervision and participates in committees and meetings supporting assigned client groups.
Job Duties
Provide legal support to THR hospitals THPG and/or System Services departments for assigned matters
Draft review negotiate and advise on procurement/supply chain-related commercial agreements including supplier/vendor agreements master agreements statements of work amendments and related documentation
Serve as primary point of contact for designated internal clients; provide clear timely and actionable legal advice aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance
Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard templates and terms; support continuous improvement of contracting processes tools and playbooks
Provide training and education for business stakeholders on legal/compliance topics
Participate as a member and/or attend various committees and/or meetings.
