Senior Application Engineer

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Senior Application Engineer based in New Iberia LA or Houston TX. Youll take lead engineering responsibilities for process procedures specifications and design to supply independent power production for large scale data center developers at rapid pace near perfect reliability and power quality expectations and efficient fuel usage from variable resources such as gas generators battery energy storage PV solar or other energy sources.

What youll do as Senior Application Engineer:

• Client facing role building designs and reviewing technical specifications.
• Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
• Analyzes engineering proposals process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial machinery and equipment design. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Determines feasibility of designing new applications considering costs available space time limitations company planning and other technical and economic factors.
• Provides technical information concerning applications materials properties and process advantages and limitations which affect planning.
• Compiles and analyzes operational test and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.

You are:

• Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (ABET accredited or approved equal. Electrical Mechanical or others with energy industry work experience)
• 6-8 years relevant experience
• Resourceful problem solver with proven experience collaborating with various stakeholders to reach successful project outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in energy field and excellent analytical and decision-making skills and ability to articulate. Technical writing background a plus .
• Availability to travel to support business needs and for training and in possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business- 30%
