Location

Grand Rapids MI (Northwest Area) On-site with flexible scheduling. We believe in the value of working together while giving our employees flexibility in their daily schedules.

Note

Hands-on Acumatica ERP experience performing everyday accounting transactions is required. We are looking for someone who has actively used Acumatica in an accounting role not solely in software implementation or consulting. Prior management experience and a college degree are not required.

Job Description

• Take ownership of daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger invoicing and journal entries.
• Serve as our in-house Acumatica expert and support our transition from QuickBooks to Acumatica ERP.
• Manage financial transactions involving payments purchase orders inventory payroll and expense reporting.
• Guide and support two experienced part-time accounting team members.
• Partner with our Financial Controller to streamline processes improve accuracy and strengthen financial reporting.
• Expand your responsibilities into financial planning and analysis (FP&A) budgeting audits and strategic financial initiatives as you grow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Acumatica ERP for daily accounting activities is required.
• 3 years of accounting operations experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of AP AR general ledger reconciliations and financial transactions.
• Ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities while collaborating with a small team.
• Strong attention to detail organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Bachelors degree CPA certification and prior supervisory experience are not required.
