Our client is a well-established independent insurance agency offering a comprehensive suite of Commercial Personal and Group Benefit insurance solutions. Known for their commitment to client relationships and industry expertise they provide a dynamic and supportive work environment with hybrid work flexibility.
We are seeking an experienced Select Commercial Account Manager to join their team in a full-time hybrid capacity. This role is central to managing and growing a portfolio of commercial accounts delivering expert insurance guidance and fostering strong relationships with both clients and insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting business retention and growth alongside the sales team.
Responsibilities
Schedule and conduct pre-renewal meetings with commercial clients
Facilitate thorough policy reviews to ensure adequate coverage
Consult insureds on policy changes and coverage recommendations
Assist with new quotes and coverage estimates
Re-market accounts to insurance carriers as needed
Process Certificates of Insurance and policy endorsements
Bind coverages on behalf of clients
Manage accounts receivable related to assigned accounts
Collaborate with the sales team to support business growth and client retention
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the policy lifecycle
Qualifications
3 years of experience in Commercial Lines Account Management within an independent agency (experience with carriers captives or direct writers does not qualify)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
Experience with AMS 360 is preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid work environment
Insurance certifications designations and/or active licenses are preferred but not required
